Protesters Let Pepco ‘Have their Cake and Eat it Too’

Two protesters climbed on the first floor awning of Pepco’s DC headquarters this morning and smeared cake on the logo.

This act was in response to Pepco’s proposed rate hike. The protesters explained that it smeared cake on the sign and windows of the headquarters because “Pepco can’t have its cake and eat it too.”

About a hundred protesters set up tents outside of the building and chanted “Money, money, money! Pepco is greedy!” They are hoping to make a  for the company’s shareholder meeting on Friday.
