In a campaign video released Thursday, First Lady Michelle Obama voiced with no hesitation that the United States of America will have a female president, reports Politico.com.
“Like I tell my daughters, women and girls can do whatever they want,” Obama said. “There’s no limit to what we as women can accomplish.”
“I have no doubt that we will see a woman in the Oval Office very soon,” she said in a Q & A video released by the reelection campaign.
Obama also pleaded with women and girls to stay involved and informed in the political conversation.
“We’ve got to encourage more women to become part of the political process,” Obama said. “As women, we need to keep ourselves informed about everything that is going on around us.”
“We need to encourage more of them to run for office,” Obama said.
