WHO: The Prince George’s Hospital Center Foundation 1st Annual Charity Fundraiser. ThePrince George’s Hospital Center Foundation will honor Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr. of First Baptist Church of Glenarden, the late Mrs. Lula Jenkins of J. B. Jenkins Funeral Services, Robert Gold, Ph.D. of the University of Maryland, School of Public Health and the Honorable Eugene Grant, Mayor of Seat Pleasant, Maryland for their significant service to the Hospital.
The 2012 Strata Awards honorary co-chairs are: Congresswoman Donna F. Edwards, Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown, Prince George’s County Council Chairwoman Andrea Harrison, Griffin Davis, MD, MPH and Antoine Fomufod, MD, MPH.
WHAT:
Under the theme “Dancing with the Strata”, the 2012 Strata Awards will salute four exceptional people who have contributed and committed their lives to the improvement of healthcare service at the Prince George’s Hospital Center. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Prince George’s Hospital Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This year’s event will also feature a special recognition to the past hospital board chair people as well as this year’s most outstanding volunteer.
