Zyia Turner, the 17-month-old Detroit toddler who went missing on Friday, was found dead in a closet in the home, the Detroit Free Press reports.

A police cadaver dog found Zyia’s body on Saturday morning. The cause of death has not been released and no one has been arrested in connection with the case. The father, Emmanuel Turner, was away at a park while his brother watch Zyia and other children on Friday night.
At some point, the uncle left the children for his bedroom and realized Ziya was missing upon his return.

Bridget Elam, the girl’s grandmother, said she had gone shopping for the Fourth of July when her phone rang at 3:46 p.m.
It was her son, Emmanuel Turner’s brother, asking whether she knew where Zyia was.
