NewsOne is partnering with Loop21 to launch the 2012 State of the Black Economy Survey ($OBE).
This unique online survey offers Black Americans a chance to be heard on a variety of crucial issues and to contribute to the understanding of the economic needs of Black America.
The $OBE survey runs from today, July 9 until July 27. The results will be published here on August 6, on both NewsOne and Loop 21.

This year’s survey is a follow up to Loop 21′s survey undertaken in 2010, which yielded a number of interesting results, including:
Roughly 9 out of 10 respondents favored job creation policies over deficit reduction.
Over two‐thirds of respondents favored reducing taxes for businesses, which would likely increase the budget deficit, in order to stimulate job growth.
