Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney and the rest of the standout U.S. Women’s Gymnastics squad who won gold medals during the Summer Olympic Games in London visited the Big Apple complete with their new bling, the New York Daily News reports.

They took to the famed Empire State Building to light the tower in the colors of the American flag.

The “Fierce Five” of Douglas, Maroney, Aly Raisman, Jordyn Wieber, and Kyla Ross were all on hand at the historic landmark to celebrate the team’s gold medal win. Suddenly visible and famous beyond their dreams, the fresh-faced teenagers struck girlish and giddy poses outside on the building’s observation deck. The team also visited NBC morning program “Today Show” and met with superstar rap artist Nicki Minaj.
