Most women–we assume–would love the thought of experiencing multiple orgasms within a 24-hour time frame.

But Kim Ramsey (pictured), originally from the United Kingdom, doesn’t seem to enjoy the 100 orgasms she has each day, according to The Huffington Post (UK).

Sitting in a chair, traveling on a train or doing basic housework can arouse the 44-year-old nurse to the point of climax–whether in pubic or private. Her orgasms stem from an incurable condition called Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD) which causes her to become sexually aroused without sexual desire.

Ramsey’s issues with PGAD possibly began when she fell down a flight of stairs and landed on her back in 2001 in Herfordshire, United Kingdom. In May, she learned that her fall from more than ten years before may have caused a Tarlov cyst on her spine at the point where a female’s orgasm originates, according to HuffPost.
Though she did not realize the effect from the fall until she became intimate with her partner.
Here is what she told HuffPost about the experience:
After we’d had sex I was still experiencing constant orgasms for four days.
“I was petrified, I thought I was going mad. I told the guy and he was chuffed.
“When I told a close friend she mentioned it might be PGAD but I was so embarrassed and worried about it happening again that I just tried to forget about it and chose a period of celibacy.
“But then after meeting a new partner it happened again. I was mortified.
“We tried everything to make it stop. Squats, deep breathing, I even sat on frozen peas but the orgasms and sexual arousal continued for 36 hours – I must have had around 200 orgasms during that period. The pain and exhaustion was excruciating.
Ramsey, who now lives in New Jersey, says it is very difficult to go about her day because she doesn’t know when an episode of PGAD will pop up. Besides feeling she no longer has control over her body, Ramsey says that her condition makes it quite challenging to maintain a relationship with a man.
