(Baltimore, MD) – Maryland is getting tougher on toll jumpers who go through E-ZPass lanes without paying the toll. Ninety-nine-percent of you obey the law but it’s that one-percent the state wants to catch. You can legally go through the E-ZPass lanes without a transponder and a bill will be sent to you. But if you don’t pay it in 30 days, it’s a 50-dollar fine and if you still don’t pay you could have your vehicle registration suspended.
