Washington Football Team Hold Annual Welcome Home Luncheon

(Tysons Corner, VA) — The Washington Washington Football Team are a step closer to teeing it up for real following Thursday’s annual Welcome Home Luncheon at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner. Some 600 people attended the event which featured awards for players of the year for 2008. Clinton Portis, London Fletcher and James Thrash took those honors. New Washington Football Team like Albert Haynesworth also greeted the fans. Coach Jim Zorn told the crowd to forget about 2008 and focus on the coming season. They take on the New England Patriots on Saturday.
