Montgomery and Prince George’s counties are offering free H1N1 vaccination clinics in upcoming days.

The Prince George’s County Health Department is offering an evening walk-in flu clinic on December 15, 2009. The clinic targets vulnerable and elderly populations.

It will be held Tuesday December 15, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the D. Leonard Dyer Regional Health Center, located at 9314 Piscataway Road, in Clinton. Health workers will have intranasal and injectable H1N1 flu and season vaccines. You can call 301-883-7834 for more information.

Montgomery County’s health department is holding a free walk-in H1N1 clinic on Dec. 20.

The clinic will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Physical Education Center on Montgomery College’s Rockville Campus, located at 51 Mannakee Street.

There will be 5,000 doses available of nasal spray and injectable vaccine. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and vaccinations are free.

Residents are encouraged to dress warmly and bring a chair, snacks and activities for children, as the waiting line will be partially outdoors.
