(Washington, DC) — Healthcare legislation being considered in Congress is a cause for alarm among pro-life advocates. CitizenLink reports the legislation would require almost every American to have health care coverage that meets “minimum benefits standards that would include abortion. Pennsylvania Republican Congressman Joe Pitts said, quote, “This legislation will mandate and subsidize abortion and then tax the Americans who stand for one of the very principles that this nation was founded on — the right to life.”
