(Oxon Hill, MD) — Investigators are trying to determine what caused a massive fire that has all but destroyed the Knights of Columbus meeting hall in Oxon Hill. Prince George’s County firefighters responded just after 2 o’clock this morning to the 15-hundred block of Southern Avenue and found the building fully engulfed in flames. The fire was so intense that the roof of the building collapsed. A fire department spokesman estimates the damage at about 500-thousand dollars. No one was hurt in the fire.
