Afrika Owes was recently sentenced to 90 days in prison before entering a guilty plea for helping her boyfriend run guns and drugs while she was in a Connecticut prep school.
The 17-year-old, who served two months in prison before Harlem’s historic Abyssinian Baptist Church bailed her out, hasn’t gained the sympathy of everyone; especially those in her own Harlem community.
