New 9th Street Bridge Dedicated In Northeast DC

(Washington, DC)  –  DC drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists now have a new option to avoid a nasty detour following yesterday’s dedication of the 9th Street Bridge over New York Avenue, Northeast.  The span, which replaces a 70-year-old bridge, will allow travelers to avoid a detour on 4th Street, Northeast.  It also has wider lanes and sidewalks than the bridge it replaces.
