NEW YORK-Police say that former mental patient, Charles Burnett, robbed the same New York bank three days in a row and used the proceeds to live in a posh hotel and hire a chauffeur.

Police also claim that Burnett used a chauffeur to drive him to his most recent heist.

Police: Man Gave Two Forms Of I.D. Before Robbing Bank

The New York Post reports:

At 9:19 a.m. Monday, he went to the Sovereign bank at 2 Gold St. and allegedly stole about $2,200 by handing over a demand note that said “Put money in the bag, I have a gun”and then producing a paper bag that appeared to hold the weapon.

After making off with the cash, law-enforcement sources believe he went to the Grand Hyatt near Grand Central Terminal and used the dough to book a suite.
