(Washington, DC) — A group of students from Maryland and the District are back home after a trip to China they won’t soon forget. The teens were quarantined during their visit, with some hospitalized after several students came down with swine flu. Upon reuniting with her child at Dulles International Airport Thursday night, Victoria Teube told WJLA-TV, quote, “It’s like a Christmas morning. I’ve got a big present back.” Soon after the students arrived in the communist nation, one of the students began exhibiting symptoms of swine flu. It wasn’t long before about a dozen students began showing symptoms and were hospitalized. Others, who were healthy, were still quarantined. Another group of students will fly back to the United States in a week.
