The North Arundel County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Government Awareness Forum and Voter Registration Drive will be held Saturday, February 25th, 2012 from 11am to 1:30pm.
The event will be held at Arundel Middle School – Cafeteria located at 1179 Hammond Lane, Odenton MD 21113. The purpose of this community engagement event, tailored for Anne Arundel County residents, is to provide a general awareness of county government and how it functions, important agencies and boards within the county that work on behalf of residents, provide information on important upcoming events such as the Presidential Primary Elections, inform residents on how to contact their elected officials, how to become more engaged within their county regarding social and political activism, and of course, voter registration activities.
