Our news, our way. Starting Monday Nov. 4, “NewsOne Now” with Roland Martin, the first-in-class daily African American morning news show hits television for the first time. The groundbreaking interactive daily show will simulcast live on radio starting at 7:00 a.m., with the third hour airing weekdays at 9:00 a.m. ET, on TV One.
The Marketing Pulpit Radio Show is the creation of expert marketer, Robert Gatewood MBA, the show’s host. Gatewood is joined by co-hosts, branding expert William Maxwell, and former Ms DC and TV/radio personality, Alena7. Alena7 puts businesses on the map with live, on-site interviews that are broadcast during the show.
The show’s mission is “building strong businesses in the community and putting people to work”. The concept sprang from Gatewood’s frustration with chronic high unemployment in the community, despite a high number of business startups. According to Gatewood, “the best way to create an atmosphere for hiring in the community is to help the existing businesses in the community succeed … and there is no surer way to business success than through effective marketing.”
The show broadcasts live every Friday at 10:30 AM and provides crucial knowledge in the areas of business development, advertising, sales, customer service, branding, web development, social media, workforce development, franchising, financing, business news and more. The show also provides a platform for business owners to showcase their businesses via interviews at the Radio-One studio. Call into the show at 1-800-450-7876.
The show is an entertaining, informational, and inspirational combination of the radio airwaves, a robust web presence, a thriving online business directory, social media integration, a Smartphone app and the First Friday LIVE networking event.
