(Rockville, MD) – Police said a Rockville boy drowned Saturday after breaking into a community pool for a late-night swim. Hasif Kareem and his friends were in the closed pool in the New Mark Commons area of Rockville when the 15-year-old failed to resurface. The friends yelled to a passerby to call 911. Police performed CPR at the scene. The boy was pronounced dead at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.
