(Washington, DC) — After temperatures came awfully close to hitting triple digits on Monday, some good news — we won’t be in for a repeat performance today. At Dulles International Airport, the mercury soared to 97-degrees, breaking the record set in 2001. Today, forecasters say we’ll be in for more typical summer weather, with highs just barely topping the 90-degree mark. We could also see a shower or thunderstorms during each of the next few days.
