Wilson High School in NW Washington has been evacuated and closed for the day after an acid spill was reported. Students have been sent home.
According to WUSA 9:
Wilson High School is closed for the day after an acid spill at the aquatic center.
The call for the spill came around 9:16 a.m. and units arrived around 9:19 a.m., officials say.
Officials say a worker struck a pipe with acid. DC Fire and EMS transported a victim in critical condition. We’re told the aquatic center has been evacuated.
