A Georgia senator is under fire after praying that President Barack Obama‘s “days be few.”

According to The Hill, at a faith conference in D.C., Perdue said, “In his role as president, I think we should pray for Barack Obama. But I think we need to be very specific about how we pray.”

“We should pray like Psalm 109:8 says, ‘Let his days be few. And let another have his office,’” the senator said.

Yet, obviously this can be interpreted as something sinister as opposed to something Biblical, especially when you look at the next verse: “May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow! May his children wander about and beg, seeking food far from the ruins they inhabit!”

However, a spokesperson for Perdue said that it wasn’t the senator’s intention to wish any ill to the President. But not everyone is buying it.

“On stage next, did [Senate Majority Leader Mitch] McConnell [R-Ky.] condemn Perdue’s prayer for Obama to die? Of course not. This is why they have Trump,” tweeted Adam Jentleson, a spokesman for Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.).

The hate against our President just continues to get out of control.

A Bronx mother was shot and killed on Saturday as she tried to save her three young children from a gunman in a park outside of her apartment building, reports the New York Daily News.

Jessica White, 29, saw a gunman fire into a playground at the John Adams Houses in Longwood. White’s mother told the newspaper that her daughter’s first priority was protecting her children, so she jumped up to cover them.

“She said, ‘Mommy! The kids!’ ” Gola White said Saturday night.

Her daughter, she said, cried that she had to “go get the kids.”

Then, Gola White said, “My daughter got up and hit the ground.”

Police this shooting was linked to local gang beef.

“I believe that the bullets were for them, but bullets don’t have no name, bullets don’t have no direction, so of course when my daughter stood up she got hit, under her heart. And she’s gone,” White told the paper. “My daughter was an innocent mother sitting out here while her kids were playing in the park,” she added.
