(Hyannis Port, MA) — A public wake is being held today for the late Eunice Kennedy Shriver. The wake is scheduled to run from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville, Massachusetts. A private funeral Mass is set for Friday morning at St. Francis Xavier Church in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The 88-year-old Kennedy Shriver died early early Tuesday at Cape Cod Hospital. She had suffered a series of strokes in recent years. Kennedy Shriver was the sister of Massachusetts Senator Edward Kennedy, the late President John F. Kennedy, and the late Senator Robert Kennedy. She founded the Special Olympics in 1968.
