The Maryland chapter of the NAACP president Gerald Stansbury and the Maryland State Comptroller Peter Franchot are calling for a federal civil rights investigation into both the city and county public school systems.Together both penned and signed a letter addressed to the U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division regarding Baltimore City and Baltimore County Public Schools’ failures to outfit all schools with air conditioning.
