Federal prosecutors said Sgt. Thomas Allers, 49, of Linthicum Heights, was arrested Wednesday on racketeering conspiracy and racketeering offenses, including robbery and extortion. The indictment was returned Aug. 24 and was unsealed Wednesday according to FoxBaltimore.
