“I’m real excited because it’s a project that I’ve been working on for some time, building with entrepreneurship and building with a way forward in the economy and a time in our country where I believe we’re really having a hard time getting up on our feet,” says eJakes.

Starting a business is tough and Jakes knows all about from his father. “It’s a tough thing to do. I watched my father start a business with a mop and a bucket and ended up with 52 employees.”

Jakes touches on the fact that research is important in starting a business. “I think the research up front is very very important. Understanding the demands of the client you are trying to reach.”

But he also makes it clear that, “a business is not a destination but transportation.”
