Baltimore City Schools CEO Sonja Santelises sat down with Project Baltimore to answer some questions. It marks the last time anyone from City Schools Administration has interviewed with Project Baltimore about 82 days ago. In 2017 after analyzing the state testing data,13 City High Schools were found  that did not have a single student proficient in math and using state data, found attendance last year in City Schools hit a 13-year low. Also discovered at Excel Academy in West Baltimore there were six students from that school, in the previous year that had been shot and killed on the streets of Baltimore.
