Maryland State Police issued a warning that suspects are using a web-based service to make prank calls throughout the country. Victims are saying that calls are coming from what appears as if they came from the State Police Criminal Enforcement Division. Others reported that when they answer the phone, they are met with silence and the number on their caller ID is 410-953-8200.
