According to Baltimore City Mayor Catherine Pugh and Police Commissioner Designate Darryl De Sousa crime in Baltimore City is trending downward. The mayor also states that the number of killings is down by 15 compared to this time last year. That’s a reduction of about 30 percent.
Mayor Pugh also added that there was a sharp reduction in recent weeks to murders, as they’re down double digits.
