This has been a particularly embarrassing and personally distressing month for President Donald Trump.

Stormy Daniels, the porn star, appeared on CBS’ “60 Minutes” and shared cringe-worthy details about her purported affair with President Donald Trump. Her revelations included Daniels claiming she once spanked Trump with a copy of Forbes magazine featuring Trump’s face on the cover.

Daniels is suing to get released from a contract that forbids her from talking about her affair with Trump, even though she already detailed her tryst on 60 Minutes.

Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, is in the legal spotlight because he paid Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about her story just before the 2016 election.

And now Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, has filed a motion in federal court seeking to depose President Donald Trump and Cohen to grill them about the $130,000 payout to Daniels.

Two other women came forward this month to tell their stories about alleged affairs with Trump:

Former Playboy model Karen McDougal claims she had an affair with Trump in 200 and apologized to his wife Melania Trump during an interview with CNN.

“I’m sorry. I wouldn’t want it done to me,” she told CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Thursday.

“When I look back, where I was back then, I know it’s wrong,” she said. “I’m really sorry for that. I know it’s a wrong thing to do.”

McDougal signed a deal for $150,000 to tell her story to the National Enquirer in 2016. The story was never published and McDougal, who said she was tricked, is suing the newspaper so she can tell her story.

And then there is Summer Zervos, a former contestant on The Apprentice. Zervos has accused Trump of sexually assaulting her at a Beverly Hills hotel in 2007.  Zervos says Trump groped her during a meeting to discuss a job.

Trump has denied all the allegations lodged against him by from Daniels, McDougal and Zervos.

While Trump is dealing with potential legal ramifications from the three women who have accused him of improprieties, two members of Trump’s Cabinet are being criticized – one for financial mismanagement and another for racial insensitivity.

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) blasted Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, basically calling Carson incompetent.

While Carson testified on Capitol Hill, Warren discussed the current scandal at HUD that involves HUD spending $31,000 of taxpayer dollars for a dining set for Carson’s office. Carson has also been criticized for removing anti-discrimination language from HUD’s mission statement.

“Mr. Secretary, a lot of people are criticizing you for spending tens of thousands of dollars of taxpayer money fancy furniture, don’t get me wrong, I think scamming the taxpayers is a scandal,” Warren said during questioning. “But the biggest scandal of your tenure is your unwillingness to do your job and enforce the laws that reduce housing discrimination and segregation across this country.”

“We are going backwards,” Warren said. “It is HUD’s job to help end housing discrimination. That’s what the law said. You said you would enforce these laws. You haven’t, and I think that’s the scandal that should get you fired.”

Meanwhile, Secretary of Interior Ryan Zinke has reportedly told members of his staff that he won’t focus on diversity within the agency.

CNN reported that Zinke has made several comments saying “Diversity isn’t important,” or “I don’t care about diversity,” or “I don’t really think that’s important anymore.”

CNN also reported the Interior department lists 68,000 employees, of which more than 70 percent are white, according to the Office of Personnel Management.

Several employees told CNN that Zinke has said repeatedly, “I don’t really think that’s important anymore. We don’t need to focus on that [diversity] anymore.”

Racial diversity within the Trump administration has never been a high priority so Zinke’s comments are not surprising – but it’s still disheartening nonetheless and we’re only 15 months into the Trump presidency.

Creating an administration that resembles America is on Trump’s short list of duties.
