The Baltimore City Council will most likely nominate acting Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison Monday night.
Harrison was with the New Orleans Police Department for 28 years rising to Top cop before retiring and taking the job in Baltimore last month.
If confirmed tonight, Harrison will receive $275,000 a year for the first year as Baltimore Police Commissioner with a 3-percent increase in each of the next five years.
