The Washington Washington Football Team 2020 Season is here! After bringing in new head coach Ron Rivera and drafting Chase Young, the Washington Football Team are hoping that they can build on a season where they finished 3-13 and last place in the NFC East.

Here is a complete breakdown of the Washington Football Team’s 2020 schedule, including dates, start times and some analysis.

Washington’s 2020 Schedule:

Week 1: vs Philadelphia Eagles @ FedEx Field, 1:00pm

  • The Ron Rivera era begins at home against a division rival. The Washington Football Team failed to win a divisional game last season and have fallen to the Eagles the last six times the two teams have matched up. A win over the Eagles would get the Rivera era off to a great start and give the Washington Football Team their first divisional win since Week 8 of the 2018 season.

Week 2: @ Arizona Cardinals – State Farm Stadium, 4:05pm

Week 3: @ Cleveland Browns – FirstEnergy Stadium, 1:00pm

Week 4: vs Baltimore Ravens @ FedEx Field, 1:00pm

  • The Washington Football Team play the AFC North this season for their cross-divisional games, bringing the reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson to town. The defense will definitely have its work cut out trying to slow down the league’s best rushing attack from a season ago. The Skins, however, have won the last two matchups against the Ravens, in 2012 and 2016. Washington also has to face a talented team that underperformed a season ago in the Cleveland Browns the week before.

Week 5: vs Los Angeles Ram @ FedEx Field, 1:00pm

Week 6: @ New York Giants – MetLife Stadium, 1:00pm

Week 7: vs Dallas Cowboys @ FedEx Field, 1:00pm

Week 8: BYE WEEK

Week 9: vs New York Giants @ FedEx Field, 1:00pm

Week 10: @ Detroit Lions – Ford Field, 1:00pm

Week 11: vs Cincinnati Bengals @ FedEx Field, 1:00pm

Week 12 (THANKSGIVING):  @ Dallas Cowboys – AT&T Stadium, 4:30pm

Week 13: @ Pittsburgh Steelers – Heinz Field, 1:00pm

Week 14: @ San Francisco – Levi’s Stadium, 4:25pm

  • Washington traveling to San Francisco means that they’ll be squaring off against seven-time Pro Bowl tackle Trent Williams. Back on day three of the 2020 NFL Draft, Washington traded Williams to the 49ers for a 2020 5th-round pick, which was used on center Steve Ismail, and a 2021 third-rounder. With Joey Bosa and Richard Sherman anchoring the defense and a traditional run-heavy offense, this matchup presents a tough end to a three-game road trip.

Week 15: vs Seattle Seahawks @ FedEx Field, 1:00pm

Week 16: vs Carolina Panthers @ FedEx Field, 1:00pm

Week 17: @ Philadelphia Eagles – Lincoln Financial Field, 1:00pm
