NEW CARROLLTON, Md. (WUSA) — Police are investigating a homicide in New Carrollton this Friday morning.
Captain David Ladd with the New Carrollton Police Department says a 911 call was made shortly after 6:00 Friday morning reporting a body on Jodie Street near Inlet Street.
Officers from the New Carrollton Police Department along with Prince George’s County Police arrived on scene to find a man in his 30’s suffering from a gun shot wound lying in the front yard of the residence. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police have not released the name of the victim
Prince George’s County Police are investigating the homicide.
