(Washington, DC) — There’s more relief at the gas pump in the Washington metropolitan area. The MetroSource Price at the Pump survey finds a gallon of regular dropped four-cents this week, now standing at $2.55, on average. Premium gasoline went down three-cents, to an average $2.83 a gallon. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says the average price for a gallon of diesel in the Central Atlantic states is selling for $2.63, on average.
