Two college students have pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to attempting to manufacture a hallucinogenic drug in a Georgetown dorm room last October. Freshman Charles Smith who attended Georgetown and his friend, John Perrone from the University of Richmond used Internet instructions to make the drug DMT for their personal use and to share with friends. Smith and Perrone were high school classmates from Andover, Massachusetts.  As part of a plea deal, prosecutors agreed to recommend a six-month prison sentence which would be suspended, allowing for probation and community service. Sentencing is set for March 18th.
