(Washington, DC)  —  Accusations that Washington Washington Football Team defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth sexually abused a waitress will soon be considered by a grand jury.  Subpoenas have been sent to some “W” Hotel employees who may have witnessed the alleged incident.  Haynesworth’s attorney A. Scott Bolden says the accusations are false, adding that when you’re a high-profile multi-millionaire you’re a target for such claims. Bolden tells WJLA that he has interviewed several witnesses.

Bolden hopes to share the results of his investigation with the U.S. attorney and says hopefully, there will be a positive resolution.  This is the second time this month that Haynesworth has been named as a suspect in a criminal matter.  On Saturday, Haynesworth went to the Reston police station to sign a releasable warrant on charges that he punched a man during an alleged road-rage incident earlier this month.

Bolden tells WJLA that his client is being targeted.
