(Washington, DC)  —  Women’s History Month kicks off today with a conference in Washington, DC on the impact of First Ladies.  The seminar will include talks from the former chiefs of staff to Michelle Obama, Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton.  Historians, authors and journalists will round out panel discussions on the role and influence of the First Lady. 

The theme of this year’s Women’s History Month is “Our history is our strength,” in honor of women who have taken action to create a better world and future.
