(Canberra, Australia)  —   Facebook is removing 20-thousand kids a day from its social network for lying about their age. The site weeds out kids who try to pass as older than age 13.  That’s the minimum age for posting to the globally popular network.  Facebook privacy adviser Mozelle Thompson testified yesterday to the Australian parliament’s cyber-safety committee about younger kids sneaking onto the network.  He said conceded that methods to detect the little liars aren’t perfect.  Facebook has more than 500-million members worldwide.
