(Upper Marlboro, MD) — Prince George’s County leaders say they are looking ahead and not backward following former County Executive Jack Johnson’s guilty plea to charges linked to a corruption scheme. Johnson’s successor, County Executive Rushern Baker brushed off the possibility of ill effects on the county, saying the news is “by no means reflective of the people of Prince George’s County or employees of its government.”
