MoCo Police Issue Warrant For Suspect In Child Sex Assaults

(Rockville, MD) — Montgomery County police have issued a warrant for a man accused of multiple sex crimes involving a minor. The alleged offenses happened in Silver Spring over an eight-month period beginning in the spring of 2010. Dwan Brooks, who is known to the victim’s family, faces charges that include second-degree rape and sexual abuse of a minor. Brooks has been known as a street vendor, selling jewelry, perfume or watches. He frequents pawn shops and thrift stores.
