Police are investigating after an armed man was shot by a private security guard in Ferguson, Missouri, The Associated Press reports.

According to authorities, the teen's home contained a shotgun, ammunition and "bomb-making materials to include pipes with end caps, shrapnel, fireworks, magnesium tape, and fuse material."

Among them are Demetria Carthens, 17; Heaven Shamte, 15; Rayna Gross, 16; and Dashann Wallace, 15. Carthens had been missing since February 7, while Shamte Gross and Wallace were reported missing in March.
