Charles Barkley is coronavirus free. The retired Hall-of-Famer and star of the Emmy Award-winning NBA studio show, Inside The NBA, revealed in a statement on Monday (Mar.23) that he tested negative for the virus. 

Minnesota Timberwolves star, Karl-Anthony Towns, revealed that his mom, Jacqueline Cruz, is fighting for her life. Last night, the pro baller detailed painfully that his mother is now in a medically-induced coma after battling coronavirus symptoms and had to be put on a ventilator.

ESPN's NFL Insider, Adam Schefter is reporting that the Carolina Panthers will be moving on from Cam Newton today (Mar.24). The organization has come to the decision to release Newton after failing to secure a trade for the quarterback.

Thursday night (Mar.19) Marcus Smart confirmed to the world he was the latest NBA player to test positive for the coronavirus. He made the announcement in a video he shared on Twitter and urged his fans and followers to practice social distancing to help slow the spread of the respiratory virus.
