(Washington, DC) — DC Mayor Adrian Fenty was involved in a car crash last night in upper Northwest Washington. A spokesperson for the mayor tells the “Washington Post” that Fenty was behind the wheel of his SUV when another vehicle proceeded through a stop sign, striking Fenty as he was travelling along Broad Branch Road near Rittenhouse Street, NW. Minor damage was done to both vehicles. The mayor’s three children were reportedly in the SUV with him at the time of the accident. No one was hurt. It’s unclear if any charges will be brought.
