(Rockville, MD)  —  Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a high-end shoplifter.  On Friday evening, the suspect — who was dressed as a woman, but may be a man — entered the Saks Fifth Avenue store on Wisconsin Avenue in Chevy Chase and stuffed a $2000 Chanel dress into a large over-the shoulder bag.  A security guard tried to stop the shoplifter, but the suspect sprayed the guard in the eyes with pepper spray and was last seen running southbound onto Wisconsin Avenue towards the Friendship Heights Metro station.  The suspect is described as a black man or woman, in his or her 20’s, standing six-feet tall and weighing 160 to 190 pounds.  The suspect had long, black hair worn in thin braids and pulled back.  The suspect was wearing a short, black and white checked mini-dress with long sleeves, a wide belt and flat sandals.  Anyone with information should call police.
