Bernice King dropped by Praise 102.5 in Atlanta last night and spoke to Rhodell Lewis about the controversy surrounding the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, the civil rights organization founded by her father, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
As we previously reported, King will hold a prayer vigil for the troubled organization this Friday at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. In our exclusive interview, King discusses the legacy of the SCLC, her impending presidency of the organization and what led her to call the prayer vigil.
If you can’t make the prayer vigil, you can watch the live stream at letscontinuethemovement.com.
