Philip Seymour Hoffman has died at the age of 46, according to CNN.
The Oscar-winning actor was found dead in his New York City apartment on Sunday, Feb. 2. NYPD is investigating the case. TMZ is reporting the actor was found with a needle in his arm.
Reports say the actor’s personal assistant found Hoffman in the West Village neighborhood at 35 Bethune Street and called 911 around 11:30 a.m.
Hoffman won the Oscar in 2005 for his role in Capote.
