For the first time ever women of color can go to one location to learn, discover and share information about their hair care needs and desires. We introduce to you Hairologie! Hairologie was created BY a black woman FOR black women.
Saana Holley, CEO and President of Hairologie, asked herself these questions while conceptualizing the app:
What if black women took over the conversation of black beauty?
What if we became producers in proportional ratios as we are consumers?
How could we impact the social outlook of black beauty while strengthening black businesses and providing greater opportunities for blacks in the multibillion dollar beauty industry?
And then Hairologie was born!
The FREE app contains features to get you started on your hair journey like:
allows users to document their beauty journeys using multiple types of media
displays the people you follow and are interested in hearing from
dynamically displays the most current and trending user input including videos, blog posts, audio and user journal posts
allows users to enjoy fresh curated video content by the Hairologie team directly from the app
features exciting stories, tips, beauty education and instruction
users can receive Hairologie updates via push notifications
CEO and President Saana Holley and Hairologie supporters are excited about what the app can contribute to the beauty community but they NEED YOUR HELP!
Apps are expensive and in order to get to the next step of development to launch the app, Hairologie needs the help of the community. Click here to see how YOU can help.
