Foxbaltimore.com reports that Baltimore City police have made an arrest in the case of a bicyclist hit and killed on Monday.

Authorities say Angelo Laprade, 36, of New Freedom, Pennsylvania turned himself in.

Police say Laprade was driving a Department of Public Works (DPW) vehicle around 1:30 p.m. August 15 near the intersection of Chester Avenue and Chase Street when the crash occurred.

“He’s charged with leaving the scene of an accident where it involved death and failing to provide a driver’s license in an accident where it involved death,” said city police spokesperson Donny Moses.
