Ex-Baltimore County Cop Charged With Sexual Offense, Child Abuse

A man who served as a Baltimore County police officer for 30 years turned himself in on Tuesday following an investigation into his alleged sexual abuse of his stepson as foxbaltimore.com reports.

David Roesler, 53, stopped working for the Baltimore County Police Department in July, a department spokesperson said. That same month, a 28-year-old man identified as Roesler’s stepson contacted the department to report that Roesler had sexually assaulted him during a period 12 to 15 years ago at their Freeland, Md., home.
