No officers will be charged in the shooting death of Korryn Gaines that left her son, Kodi, wounded, New York Daily News reports.

Gaines was killed after a five-hour standoff with police on August 1, after she barricaded herself in her home pointing a shot gun at police. Gaines was allegedly wanted for unpaid traffic violations. The tragedy went viral after footage of the encounter was released.

J. Wyndal Gordon, a lawyer for the Gaines family, said the officers involved would not be facing any criminal charges.

“‘Basically, we investigated ourselves, and we found that we didn’t do anything wrong,’” Gordon said. “That’s what I expect them to say.”

He is set to meet with Baltimore County State’s attorney Scott Shellenberger Wednesday to discuss the case. Shellenberger’s office released a statement saying they will not comment on the details of the investigation until they speak with Gaines’ lawyer and the family.

Gordon is also representing Gaines in a $4 million wrongful death lawsuit which was filed last week.
